Please ask for a quote at info@carolinetranslation.com. We aim to reply to you within 24 hours. Over the last few years, the translation industry has undergone a significant change due to the introduction of the Internet and E mail. This means that location is no longer an important issue. Our prices are extremely competitive. Regular work and large volume work is rewarded with discounts. Prices are calculated per word for translations, per hour for Proof-reading, per hour for telephonic interpreting, per hour, half day or day for interpreting services.

In order to receive an exact quote for any of our language services, don’t hesitate to contact us and we’ll be happy to provide you with a written quote including a full cost breakdown. Please email us the required details:

• Source and target language

• Execution time

• Style/area of expertise required

• And of course, as the case may be:
  • the text itself or at least a generous sample of the document to be translated,
  • details about the document you want proofread,
  • details of the event you would like an interpreter or if it is over the phone, when and how many times do you need the interpreter.

1) Our Prices

Translations:
For translations, the prices are calculated per word in the source document. The “source document” is the document you submit for translation. Our rates depend on several factors, varying between:

1. £ 0,05 and £ 0,07    
2. € 0,06 and € 0,08
3. $ 0,07 and $ 0,10

Interpreting:
Telephonic interpreting:

1. £ 20.00 per hour
2. € 30.00 per hour
3. $ 40.00 per hour

Consecutive and active interpreting:

1. £ 100.00 for a full day (+ expenses)
2. £ 20.00 per hour
3. For other countries than the UK, please contact us.

Proof-reading:

1. £ 15,00 per hour
2. € 30,00 per hour
3. $ 40,00 per hour

2) Additional Costs

Meeting our customers’ tightest deadlines and requirements is our priority, no matter how demanding. One person can translate approximately 2000 words/ day and needs further 2-3 days for proof-reading for midsized and large documents (more than 5000 words).
A crucial role for the price calculation for translation and proofreading is the deadline. The execution time depends on volume and style (e.g. technical terms). Our clients must plan extra costs for work on weekends and extra ressources, up to 30% additional charge. On the other hand, flexible deadlines, regular work and large volume work are rewarded with discounts.
